I can hear traffic in the distance, a dog barking and the hmm of the air conditioning unit. There is a cool breeze blowing and I am pretty relaxed. This is a really big deal for me because it almost never happens. In fact, now that I am talking about it, it's going away. I'm becoming more aware with every keystroke. Oh no. What is that? Is that Zoe crying? Adam yelling at Polly? The neighbor mowing the grass? Damn it! And Adam has just appeared.

Oh well, I guess it's back to business as usual. We just got back from four dayz at the Wakarusa Music Festival (the title to this post was their slogan) in Lawrence, Kansas. I got to see two bands that I really like, Gov't Mule and Donna the Buffalo. There were more bands, and you can check Adam's blog for that. :-) Anywho, had a great time with Zack, Claude, Eartha, and Adam. We camped, ate, and partied like big dawgz do, and we're all the more happier because of it.

Next trip ... This is his kingdom and he resents us bringing another furball into the house. Too bad. We are a bit pissy with him anyway. He has declared war on the rabbits in the backyard.
